Academic Standards

Credit Hours

A semester is normally 15 weeks. A class meeting one period a week for one semester earns one credit hour.  Modular classes will be taught on a much shorter basis using the same number of hours per credit or a minimum of 14 hours of class per credit hour.

Correspondence Course Credit 

College credit for correspondence courses is granted provided that the course meets the requirements and standards of BCWE as determined by the school.
