It wasn’t until he started college, however, that Kevin realized that life had no purpose unless it was spent serving the Lord. At the age of 25, the Lord began to deal with Kevin’s heart about preaching His Word. He surrendered to God’s call and began attending Crown College in Knoxville, TN. At Crown, Kevin was able to meet a missionary to Peru named Austin Gardner. After taking a mission’s trip to Peru that summer, God confirmed in Kevin’s heart that He wanted him to be involved in church planting. When Kevin and his wife Beth graduated from college, they took a survey trip to Bolivia, and there the Lord confirmed in their hearts that this was where He wanted them to be missionaries. After finishing deputation, Kevin and Beth spent almost two years in Arequipa, Peru for language training and internship purposes. They just finished their first four years on the field, and, after their furlough, will be returning to Bolivia to continue in the ministry there.

After graduating from Crown College, Brother Aaron spent two years in Peru working under an experienced church planter. During that time, he was immersed in language learning, cultural adaptation, and Biblical application to real life ministry. Today, Bro. Aaron lives in North Africa and has been ministering for the last 2 and a half years. He has been training young men for ministry, traveling with follow up teams to share the gospel and disciple in remote parts of the country, and teaching English as a second language. Although North Africa has been traditionally closed to the gospel, Bro. Aaron has a thriving ministry with a people desperate to hear the Truth of God’s Word.
