We are looking for the right kind of missionaries to have in our Mission’s Conference September 15-17, 2011. We don’t want just any missionary! We are looking for the right kind of men to partner with. We are looking for the following in a missionary: 1.

I hope you have marked your calendar for September 15-18, 2011. We will be having our World Vision Celebration. Plans are already being made. Right now we have the following missionaries scheduled to be with us! Aaron and Jillian Bashore, North Africa and the Muslims, Chris and Andria Gardner, Peru, David and Katie Gardner, Peru, Jason and Lori Holt,Chile, and Chris and Sherry Waye on deputation as missionaries to the United Kingdom will all be with us! Of these 5 that are scheduled to be with us three families are members of our church, Chris and Andria Gardner, David and Katie Gardner, and Jason and Lori Holt. You are going to be greatly blessed

METHODS TO RAISE YOUR SUPPORT 1.  Pray for God’s wisdom and blessing. If God wants you to come on the trip, He will provide the money for you to go, but you have to work at it.  (I Cor. 15:10) 2.  Send out a letter to all of the friends, family, and pastors that you know (see Sample Support Letter below).

We are so excited that after 3 years at Vision preparing for the mission field, we will be starting full-time deputation in 78 days! I cannot even begin to tell you how much we have learned in our years here at Vision, and especially, from our pastor. Bro. Austin Gardner spent 20 years in Peru as a church-planting missionary, and was greatly used of God. The Our Generation Training Center here at Vision Baptist Church is a breeding ground for missionaries, and what makes it so effective is that young people are given something that often is overlooked in Bible colleges and institutes: one-on-one teaching and mentoring from veteran missionaries and missions mobilizers. If you know someone who has a heart touched by God for missions, I highly recommend that they come and spend some time at the training center, so that they will be effective on the field.
