We finished revelation with with 2360 attendees and 499 professions of faith!! We had over 1100 people come through on Friday and Saturday night! This is from Friday night’s “Great White Throne” scene (Bekah was our angle). We celebrated Thanksgiving (Peruvian style) Sunday morning at IB Omega. Pot-luck dinner afterwards with over 120! Bekah prepared turkey! Heard some awesome testimonies of how God has changed lives this year!! We also baptisized a couple of people. This is Luis Alberto baptizing Luisa. I baptized Paul who accepted Christ a little over a month ago.

In Tim Tebow’s autobiography, “Through My Eyes,”For as long as I can remember, this was instilled in me: to have fun, love Jesus and others, and tell them about Him.” If you have given Tebow a moment of your attention you will see that he is living up to these principles in his life. He is having a blast and pointing people to Jesus on and off the field. You do not have to be a Broncos fan to be a Tebow fan nor would you have to be a follower of Jesus to appreciate Tim Tebow’s work ethic. His contribution as starting quarterback cannot be argued. His dedication to Jesus may not be cared for by some but He is consistent.

People often wonder what size is normal for a church. There are two ways of determining the size of a church. The median size is determined by taking the number of churches and getting half as larger and half as smaller. That puts the median church attendance at 75 regular participants for Sunday worship

As Christians we should know our geography better than anyone! I am often embarrassed about how hard it is for me to find a country on the world map. Since I am part of a church that is responsible for getting the gospel to the world maybe I should study the world. What about you? Go here and play games on line that will help you learn about the locations of different countries. Play with your children and friends

I think everyone remembers the shock of 9/11. You probably remember where you were, and what you were doing, as well as the progression of thoughts: “Is this real? How did this happen? Who would do this?” I’ll also probably remember the progression of thoughts when I heard the newscast last night that Osama Bin Laden was dead. And I can’t say that I’m very proud of them.

I want to give you an idea of the economical changes that we have seen since we arrived in Peru, less than two years ago (23 months). The exchange rate was s/.3.19 (soles) to $1, now s/.2.76 to $1. That may not seem like much of a difference, but that is a loss of 13.5%.
