Gone into Hiding
It always has amazed me that when Jezebel threatened Elijah, he ran. Not only did this great man of God run, he left his servant, went out alone, and wanted to die. Have you noticed that when things “are not going our way”, we have a tendency to be withdrawn. We become more and more detached from our church, other missionaries on deputation, even family. We don’t want Bro. Tony calling because we know what he is going to ask us anyway. We don’t want to send in a monthly praise report. Accountability is out of the question. We don’t feel like “messing with pastors”, so we stop calling. Which means we stop getting meetings, which leads to no love offerings, which leads to more stress and finally saying, “I guess it was not God’s will.”
Today you may need to get out from underneath your cloud. Start making phone calls by faith. Realize what a joy it is to serve the God of heaven and change your perspective. Get into the Bible and get excited by what it says. Let God be real in your life. Ask forgiveness for a wrong attitude, get your heart fixed on Him, make yourself accountable, and get back into the game! Forget all the excuses everyone else is using, you let God show Himself strong through your life!
Come out of hiding!
I really do love you,
Bro. Tony

Can a man hide from God?
Bro. Tony, . . . Thank you.
