He is Precious
Today I have the privilege of preaching at Vision Baptist Church in Alpharetta, Ga. Pastor Austin Gardner is in Argentina preaching for Jeff Bush, missionary with Macedonia World Baptist Missions.
My thoughts recently have gravitated toward the preciousness of Christ. I Peter 2:7 talks about to those who believe He is precious. Christ is the preciousness of our lives.
Has the Word of God lost it’s sweetness in your life?
Is prayer a time of deadness and last minute option?
Have the times of preaching turned into something just to get through to get a love offering and support?
When we know Him as God do we glorify Him as God? Have we lost the thankful spirit of the great things our God has done for us? (Rom 1)
Was there a time when the things of God were sweeter?
Do you just enjoy Him? Is Christ truly all we need?
May today your thoughts of Christ be precious. May He be special and treasured in your life and mine.
