God Knows
What a joy it is to serve a God in heaven that knows our every need even before we do! Below is a letter from missionary Ron Link that blessed my heart. I pray that it will bless your as well. May we weep with those that weep and rejoice with those that rejoice.
Hey Brother Tony!
I wanted to tell you what the Lord did for me last week.
I had preached the evening service at a church in KY, and afterwards, a man came to me and said that he owned a tire and auto center in KY. He asked me to stop by his shop in the morning on my way to a meeting in Illinois and he would check my car out.
We stopped by and he put my car on the rack. After inspecting the car, he called me out into the shop area to show me a few things that needed fixing.
He said that I needed a new tie rod end on the right front side, and after it was replaced, it needed to be aligned.
Then, he said I needed new brakes on the back of the car.
Finally, he said that the wear bars were starting to show on the tires and I needed new tires all the way around.
With my quick mental missionary math, I calculated that I could afford to wait a good while before having enough to pay for all that work.
Then he said to me, “We need to replace that tie rod end, do the alignment, change the rear brakes and put a new set of tires on the car, and it won’t cost you a dime, Brother.”
I nearly did back flips in the shop!
After doing all that work, he pulled the car up outside the door of the waiting area in his shop and was giving us the keys to the car to head down the road, but asked if he could pray with us first. He then proceeded to hold up traffic in the driveway of his shop while my wife, he and I stood in a little huddled circle praying together beside our car.
What a great time that was!
God knew what I needed without me ever knowing what I needed, and He provided for that need when I needed it!
I know the Scriptures say that He knows our needs before we ask, and I can testify that even when we don’t know what we need to ask for, He knows, and He cares, and He provides!
What a Great and Mighty God we serve!
I look forward to hearing how God is working in your lives as well!
Bro. Tony
