Encouraging News
The following was sent to Russell Pruitt, missionary to Montana with Macedonia World Baptist Mission. It is an amazing thought that you may be the answer to someone’s prayers as you go their “home land” to be a missionary.
Good Morning, first I want to say I’m sorry I missed your meeting at Trinity (Mocksville) last Wednesday night. Our families are from Billings/Columbus/Big Timber Montana, and I just wanted to tell you how happy we are that someone is going to our hometown. I guess you know that there are very few saved people there, in fact we had never even heard the term until we got to NC, and I know its the same for our old friends in MT. In the last 3 years, we have known 7 people that we grew up with in Columbus that have died all in their 40’s, that we know weren’t saved, all of the alcoholics too, (pretty common in MT). We were also intrigued to see you mentioned the Crow Reservation on your web site, we have 2 grandchildren that are half Crow Indian that live with us now. Well to make a long story short, just wanted to let you know we have been praying for our home towns for a long time, and it means a lot too us that someone is going.
May God bless you greatly this weekend.
Bro. Tony
