New President of Macedonia World Baptist Missions
Last night was a wonderful service at Corinth Baptist Church in Loganville, Ga. The previous president, Dr. Don Richards handed the mantle over to Dr. Scott Caudill of Canaan Baptist Church in Covington, Ga.
Dr. Richards has faithfully served on the executive board of Macedonia for 35 years now. He has been an encourager and motivator for missions around the world. I met Dr. Richards when I was twenty years old working with Dr. Wayne Cofield at Whitfield Baptist Church in Dalton, Ga. Though I was young and “only an assistant pastor”, Dr. Richards treated me with dignity, love and respect. That has always left an impression on me. Dr. Richard’s I thank you for all that you have done for me, my family and missionaries around the world.
Please pray for Dr. Caudill that God would grant him wisdom and strength as he assumes the position of president of the executive board. Dr. Caudill is a dear friend and wonderful man of God. Truly the future is as bright as God’s promises!
