Needful
Tonight I had the privilege of preaching at Vision Baptist Church for pastor Austin Gardner. God is doing some very special things through this ministry and I am very excited about their future.
I preached on Philippians 1:21-26. Paul was torn between being with Christ and remaining behind. He said that it was more needful for him to abide in the flesh because it was needful. Oh that my life would be needed in the lives of others! May God help us all when we go in to other churches to be such a help that we are needful.
Pray for this church as they host a pastors conference May 5th – 7th. They will start off with a banquet and have preaching and teaching that will encourage pastor and be a help to your local church. If you have not registered yet, please go to visionbc.com and look under events. They will be paying for a hotel room and treat you like kings. I will be preaching and teaching some. It will truly be worth your time. I look forward to seeing you there.
Please pray as I head to North Carolina to be with Zion Baptist church and pastor Cecil Robinson this weekend.
